This Privacy Policy describes our practices in connection with the information collected through AR MAKR (the "App"). The App is a creative toolbox for augmented reality. You can sketch, scan, and snap the world around you and transform your creations from 2D to 3D virtual objects anywhere in your environment. PERSONAL INFORMATION "Personal Information" is Information that identifies you as an individual or relates to an identifiable individual. When you use the App, we may collect a random ID that Apple assigns to your device. HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION We use Personal Information in order to: - Provide the App's functionality and fulfill your requests when we have a contractual relationship and/or to comply with a legal obligation, such as to send administrative information to you, including information regarding the App and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies. - For our business purposes, to comply with a legal obligation, or because we have a legitimate interest, such as data analysis (such as to understand how the App is used), audits, fraud monitoring and prevention, developing new products, improving or modifying our App, identifying usage trends, and operating and expanding our business activities. We disclose Personal Information: - To our third-party service providers to facilitate services they provide to us, such as data analysis, information technology and related infrastructure, auditing, and other services. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY We automatically collect certain information from you when you use the App, including to recognize you as you use or return to the App, to understand how the App is used, to optimize user engagement with the App, and to customize and enhance your experience. Specifically, we and our service providers may collect: - Information about your device, such as your screen resolution, operating system, device manufacturer and model, and language. We use this information to ensure that the App functions properly. - Information about your use of the App, including content viewed, features used, and the dates and times of your interactions with the App. We use this information to understand how users engage with the App and to customize and improve the App experience. We may use and disclose the information described in this section for any purpose, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law. If we are required to treat the information described in this section as Personal Information under applicable law, then we may use and disclose it for the purposes for which we use and disclose Personal Information as detailed in this Privacy Policy. If we combine the information described in this section with Personal Information, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information for as long as it is combined. INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS - You may stop all collection of information by the App by uninstalling the App. - If you would like to request to review, correct, update, suppress, restrict, or delete Personal Information that you have provided to us through the App, object to the processing of provided Personal Information, or if you would like to request to receive an electronic copy of such Personal Information for purposes of transmitting it to another company, you may contact us at support@linebreak.studio. We will respond to your request consistent with applicable law. In your request, please tell us what Personal Information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have it suppressed from our database, or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of it. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personal Information associated with the email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable. You may have a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority competent for your habitual residence, place of work, or place of alleged infringement. If you choose to share pictures, images, videos, or other content generated by the App with others electronically, we recommend that you first check the security features of your email or other applicable communications feature native to your device, as they do not operate within the App and are not within our control. RETENTION PERIOD We will retain your Personal Information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and as outlined in this Privacy Policy. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: (i) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide the App to you; (ii) whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject; or (iii) whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to the enforcement of the App Terms of Use, applicable statutes of limitations, litigation, or regulatory investigations). JURISDICTION The information we collect through the App may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. When you use the App, your Personal Information may be processed in countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have data protection rules that are different from those of your country. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information, or other practices of any third party, including any third party operating a service to which the App links. The inclusion of a link within the App does not imply our endorsement of the linked service. In addition, we are not responsible for the information collection, use, disclosure, or security policies or practices of other organizations, such as Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Blackberry, or any other app developer or social media platform provider, including with respect to any Personal Information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the App. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION We ask that you not send us, and you not disclose, any sensitive Personal Information (e.g., social security numbers, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background, or trade union membership) on or through the App or otherwise to us. UPDATES From time to time, we will update this Privacy Policy.
